Stress is a major factor in all of our lives. When we wake up in the morning, when we are in the shower, on the way to work and even when we go back to bed stress follows us. Take a deep breath
Breathing is a very calming and soothing activity. When we breathe in and out, we are clenching and releasing muscles. As we release our hold on our muscles our bodies naturally release endorphins that send chemical signals though our brains relaxing us. So, when you are stressed just top and breathe.
Close your eyes
Removing the visual input of the world around us will help to center our emotions. Too often we are trying to take in so much information that it just won’t process in our brain. Closing our eyes for a moment or two will reset our mind and our way of thinking. When we open them again, they will be more apt to focusing on your main focal point.
Stepping away from the situation for a moment is also a great idea. When we step away from a situation we can focus on other tasks. We can readjust our motor functions and really put ourselves into a position to handle the problem in a matter of ways.
Don’t take on too much
Don’t take on too much. You are only one person and people can’t expect you to run the world. Use the above steps, tips and tricks to manage your time, your abilities and when you are ready you can move forward in a positive way.
